How to Avoid the Hidden Danger Lurking in Your Shower

The Dangers of Chlorine Byproducts
Chlorine is not the only toxin in your shower. When this chemical comes into contact with other naturally occurring elements in water, it forms dangerous byproducts such as trihalomethanes (THMs) and chloroform.

Chlorine is also detrimental to your skin and hair, where it robs moisture and elasticity, leading to dry, itchy skin and brittle hair.
