Beauty and Weight Loss Start from the INSIDE

Even expensive creams and lotions probably works only at skin deep despite our most fervent hopes. And it does not take a scientist to tell us that our skin can only reflect what’s inside.

Botox results and other ‘procedures’ does not lasts, look suspicious and worst, mocks our attempt to reverse age with unkind side effects. Fight the temptation of diet fads and instant weight loss. Decide NOW that there is simply no short cuts but there is a simple, natural remedy for both healthy skin and achieving an ideal weight.

Three easy lifestyle changes that guarantee weight loss!

According to a scientific study, most of us take better care of our swimming pools than our bodies. I think that this usually arises due to a lack of education – or sometimes too much education, since in our modern society there are so many theories on how to properly nourish our bodies to achieve the ‘fastest weight loss’ or ‘lose three inches’ by the next week. Amidst these tales, it is refreshing to hear a healthy weight loss plan that does not require any drastic changes and yet is scientifically proven to encourage weight loss and healthy well-being. As Dr. Robert Young states: “We’re not overweight – we’re over-acid!”

The Creation of Fat Cells

Through countless bodily processes, the food we eat is broken down so that necessary nutrients can be extracted for growth and repair. All foods, when metabolized, also contain acidic or alkaline properties that affect the body. While alkaline, or “basic” foods help to oxygenate the body, excess acidity is a danger to vital internal organs. Fat cells are formed in order to carry detrimental acids away from the organs that keep us alive. However, by
alkalizing our systems, our bodies don’t need to form and hold on to this fat! We have all heard that successful weight loss is achieved by gradually making changes in one’s lifestyle rather than following a certain “fad diet”. Regulating the body’s pH level is certainly a way of life, and is a proven theory that has been around since the beginning of the 20th century, even though it has just recently begun to establish itself in many countries. While “alkalizing your body” may sounds daunting, there is actually no need for apprehension! The following three tips are basic in terms of both simplicity… and alkalinity!

1. Incorporate more alkaline foods into your diet.

The foods that are most effective in neutralizing internal acids are fruits and green, leafy vegetables. It is a common misconception that foods that taste sour must be acidic – lemons and limes, for example, are alkaline because the end-products extracted from them by the processes of digestion are basic. However, animal proteins such as chicken, pork and beef add acidity, as do sugars and processed carbohydrates such as white breads. As a general rule of thumb, your diet should ideally consist of a ratio of 3/4 basic foods to 1/4 acidic foods in order to keep one’s system at a consistent, non-acidic pH.

2. Drink alkaline water.

Our bodies consist of 75% water, so it is not surprising that good hydration is a key to maintaining a strong and healthy system.  However, most of us don’t usually give the water that we drink a second thought, and this has a drastic effect upon our health. As Dr. Robert Young states: “Our body is only as healthy as the water it is bathed in.” The fact is that drinks that are stables of many peoples’ diets tend to be acidic. It takes 32 glasses of alkaline water to neutralize the acid from one 12 oz. soda such as Coca-Cola, which has a pH of 2. Coffee is not much beter at a pH of 4. Even the tap water and filtered waters that we drink are usually acidic, so if we drink the recommended eight cups per day – how can we expect acidic water to adequately replenich our parches bodies? Water Ionizers can provide you with water at a basic pH that will literally wash away the fat cells parked on one’s hips, thighs, stomachs, and even brains! As easy to install and use as acommon water filter, they will make all the difference to your health and longterm weight loss goals.

3. Don’t over-exercise.

One of the reasons that exercise is so beneficial is that when we sweat, we eliminate acids from our bodies through perspiration. However, when we exercise excessively, lactic acid – a waste product of energy production – is produced, and if it is not properly whicked away by the bloodstream, it will remain within our bodies. One way of ensuring that we rid ourselves of these wastes is to cool down for at least five to eight minutes after each work out, or until the heart rate is back to normal. Otherwise, the length of your workout should be judged by your fitness level – start with however long is comfortable while keeping your heart rate up, and add to your original time as necessary – listen to your body!

Keeping yourself hydrated properly (with alkaline water) will also contribute greatly to your energy levels and reduce the amount of lactic acid in the bloodstream. Testimonials have shown that altering something as simple as the water that you drink, or adding more alkaline foods to your diet can result in weight loss of up to one pound per day. Losing weight requires nothing more than ‘basic’ knowledge balance.

Fish Bowl Metaphor

In 1908 Alexis Carrel won a Nobel Prize for a research and experiment on a chicken heart.   He kept the chicken heart alive in alkaline mineral salt solution for 20yrs by changing the solution every 48 hours. It dies when he stopped changing the solution.   What we learn from Alexis’ work is that you can keep the body cells alive if you maintain the alkaline mineral salts daily.  The health of human cells that make up tissues and organs are only as healthy as the alkaline fluids in which they are bathed. The human cell cannot tolerate low alkalinity and can never tolerate ANY acid condition. The cell begins its biological transformation becoming bacteria in the first stage; then yeast in the second stage; then mold in the 3rd stage of transformation until the anatomical elements of the organized cell (microzymas) are released to become part of some other organized cell.

Dr Robert O Young, PhD in his blog, use the fish bowl metaphor to explain the health of our body cells. The question is this; “If the fish is sick what would you do, treat the fish or change the water?” The logical answer is, you would change the water. Why? Because the fish is only as healthy as the water it swims in. The fish is the human cell and the water is the fluids around the cell(s).  As the water goes “bad” and becomes more acidic because of the waste products and pollution, the fish become diseased and start dying prematurely (further adding to the acid problem).

Acidification process compromises your body’s functioning efficiency, raises your cells’ and organs’ vulnerability to infections and disease, and creates more energy drain as your body gets further and further behind in cleansing itself.

The ocean has a delicate pH balance of 8.3 and is maintain by alkaline mineral salts. Our internal fluids are like the ocean and are maintained by the same alkaline mineral salts – sodium, chloride, magnesium, potassium and calcium. At the present the ocean pH because of global warming has gone from 8.3 to 8.2. This huge decrease in the ocean pH has caused potential health risks to all sea life including the loss of the coral reefs. The same thing is happening to many of us with body warming, as dietary and/or metabolic acids are causing the loss of bone and muscle in order to maintain the delicate alkaline pH of the blood and tissues. The result is an array of health challanges from arthritis, osteoporosis to cancer all caused by the buildup from dietary and/or metabolic acid that the body could NOT manage!”

The Cancer Riddle ( by Sang Whang )

After billions of dollars and decades in time, we are not any closer to solving the cancerriddle, the number two killer in this country. Never mind solving or conquering cancer,we don’t even understand the fundamental cause of cancer. WHY?

Is it possible that our whole approach to cancer is wrong? As a scientist who spent the
past twenty years in the research of scientific reasons for human diseases, I say we are
missing one essential element: ACID. It is the excess acid in our body that cultivates
cancer. The scientific facts are: 1) cancer cells are acidic while healthy cells are alkaline,
2) an acidic environment contains less oxygen than an alkaline environment, 3) healthy
cells die in an acidic environment while cancer cells die in an alkaline environment.

It is clear that research on cancer should start from changing an acidic environment to an
alkaline environment and then to see the effects of environmental change on cancer
cells. Why hasn’t this been done? May be it is because the concept is too simple. Western
medicine does not understand the pH influence in our body. We look for very complicated
solutions, which receive huge government research funds. So far these solutions only
lead to the development of expensive drugs and complicated machineries, which in turn
lead to side effects, requiring more research and more drugs. Am I being cynical? You
bet I am. I am frustrated to see life cut short by cancer while billions of our tax dollars
are wasted.

It is a scientific fact that when we apply highly concentrated alkaline solution (pH >13) to
a skin cancer spot, the skin cancer cells die. The spot hurts and leaves an ugly red burnt
mark; but when the new skin grows back, there is no sign of cancer. An interesting thing
to note is that the surrounding healthy cells do not die. A high pH alkaline solution does
not kill healthy cells like radiation or chemotherapy does. I do not recommend laymen
treating their own skin cancer this way, but I do recommend that professional
dermatologists experiment with different pH solutions and come up with treatments for
different kinds of skin cancer.

If doctors can measure the size and the pH of a tumor, they should be able to calculate
the number of mole of hydroxyl ions (OH-) needed to destroy the tumor without killing
any healthy cells surrounding it. Sounds like science fiction. But with a fraction of the
money that is being spent, we can find a way to accomplish this.

Another interesting scientific fact that helps us understand the human body’s natural
survival technique is the ability of human cells to multiply (mitosis). We are told that the
average human body has about 75 trillion cells. Cells live about 4 weeks and die after
mitosis, and one cell becomes two; however, after 4 weeks, our body does not have 150
trillion cells, but still 75 trillion cells. This means only half of the cells multiply and the
other half must disintegrate or die. If 37.5 trillion cells die in 4 weeks, how many cells die
in one week, one day, one hour, one minute and one second? More than 10 million cells
die per second!

The law of nature is such that strong and healthy cells multiply; damaged, injured,
infected, contaminated, radiated and weak cells die. This is how we are designed by the
Creator to maintain health in this world of radiation, contamination, bacteria/viruses,
carcinogens in foods and drinks, cellular phones, etc.

To maintain health, a healthy body must be capable of dumping all the dead cells,
natural and man-made. Dead cells are acidic and require alkaline minerals or bicarbonate
to neutralize them and be dumped safely through urine. They are the cause of diseases
when we cannot dump them. Our exhaust system, therefore, requires plenty of
bicarbonate.

Bicarbonate is an alkaline buffer that neutralizes excess acid in the blood and maintains a
healthy blood pH value. Medical science has discovered that as we age, we lose
bicarbonate in the blood, noticeably so after the age of 45. This is the average age when
we begin to show signs of diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, osteoporosis, arthritis,
kidney stones, migraine, and even cancer. The decline of bicarbonate in our blood is the
cause of physiological aging. If we could charge bicarbonate to the blood — like a battery
charger charging electrons to a battery — we could help the human body maintain good
health and live longer.

As long as we do not increase our body’s alkalinity, we will never solve the cancer
riddle. Diet and exercise are not enough to make a significant change; we need effective
bicarbonate chargers.

Your Stool Can Tell You About Your Colon Health

Colon

Kids are proud to show off their poop but most adults rarely glance
inside the toilet bowl. But the truth is…
Examining your poop is one of the best ways to find out what’s really going on in your body.
So take this quick quiz to get the inside scoop on your poop!

Question #1: How long does it take you to have a bowel movement?
Less than 60 seconds
More than two minutes

Answer: Healthy bowel movements happen within 60 seconds of sitting on  the toilet. The stool should easily come out without straining, grunting or any discomfort. It should have the consistency of toothpaste. If you have time to read a newspaper while sitting on the toilet? You probably have a problem with constipation or poor bowel health.

Question #2: What is the shape of your stool?
Long like a banana round, hard pellets thin, pencil-shaped

Answer : Healthy stool averages about four to six inches long and are
shaped like a banana or a torpedo.

Very narrow, pencil-shaped stool is a sign your colon walls are impacted
or you have polyps or growths on the inside of your colon or rectum.
This causes the stool to squeeze to get through. Stress can also create  narrow stool.

Hard, round or pellet-shaped stool is a possible sign of poor liver
function, lack of exercise, dehydration or constipation.

Question #3: Is your stool accompanied by foul odor?
Yes     No

Answer: Gas or odor is a sign of a bacterial imbalance in your intestinal flora. The “bad” bacteria release foul-smelling gases and toxins that can cramp your colon and create embarrassing odors.
You can eliminate this odor by removing debris and encrusted feces from  the walls of your intestines and restoring the balance in your intestinal flora.

Question #4:  What color is your stool?
Yellow     Green     Brown
Gray     Black     Bright red

According to Mayo Clinic research, all shades of brown and even green are considered normal stool colors. And the foods you eat can affect the color of your stool. For example, beets, tomato juice, blueberries, popsicles and green leafy vegetables can affect your stool color.
However, a distinct change in stool color can be a warning sign for health problems.

Yellow-colored stool indicates your food is moving too quickly through  your digestive tract as in the case of diarrhea. If stool is greasy or foul-smelling, it may indicate excess fat caused by malabsorption of nutrients.

Green-colored stool means your food isn’t properly being processed  through your intestines. As a result, bile isn’t broken down and gives your stool that green color. Green stool can also mean you’re eating too much sugar, fruits and vegetables and not enough grains or salt.

Gray or ashy colored stool indicates undigested fats or heavy use of  prescription or over-the-counter drugs that contain aluminum hydroxide.
It can also indicate a lack of bile in the stool that may be caused by a bile duct obstruction.

Black stool is a serious warning sign for bleeding in the upper gastrointestinal tract possibly the stomach.

Bright red stool may indicate bleeding in the lower intestinal tract possibly the large intestine or rectum. Hemorrhoids may also be the source of the bleeding.

Question #5: Do you pass gas while you’re having a bowel movement or   have you noticed air or bubbles in your stool?
Yes     No

Answer: Air or bubbles in stool can indicate an intestinal imbalance.
Gas producing bacteria may be overgrowing and competing with the
healthier flora in your gut.

Lease know this: A normal bowel movement happens within 60 seconds of  sitting on the toilet. There should be no straining, pain, bleeding or foul odor accompanied with your bowel movements. And wiping afterwards should be easy and simple? Using just one or two pieces of toilet paper!
If that’s not your experience in the bathroom then you need to give your  intestines a thorough internal cleaning!

When your colon is in danger it will do anything and everything to send out an S.O.S. for health!
That means giving you “dragon breath” and “B.O”!
If you notice strong body odor especially under your arm pits…
…Or if your friends shy away and frequently offer you breath
mints LISTEN to your colon. It’s screaming for help!

And INTESTINAL parasites can also trigger:

Painful gas and bloating
Irritable bowels
Runny stool or diarrhea
Allergies
Skin outbreaks
Insomnia
Poor immune system
Muscle pain and joint soreness…
and much more

If you’re acidic you tend to be lethargic or feel tired. Why?

Body acidity results in poor blood circulation. And most health problems are a result of poor blood circulation. In areas where your body stores acidic wastes that area will receive poor blood circulation. E.g. diabetes is caused by poor circulation in your …pancreas and gout/arthritis is due to solidified uric acid in bone joints.

Can alkaline water actually reverse the biological ageing process of our human cells?

As we age we lose bicarbonates (alkaline buffers) in our blood.  Hence older people are more acidic (accumulates more acidic wastes in their body).  Drinking alkaline water indirectly induces the stomach cells to produce more bicarbonates, results in slowing down the ageing process.

Healthy Juices

HEALTHY JUICES
Drinking alkaline anti-oxidant water is like eating fresh fruits and vegetables. Both contain
alkaline minerals which help neutralize body acidic wastes, and anti-oxidant which helps
neutralize free-radicals damage. Although some fruits are acidic to taste because they
contain citric acid but it is the alkaline mineral ash that are left behind after
metabolism/digestion that makes them alkalizing. For example lemon is acidic to taste but
is one of the more alkaline forming fruit. It contains high amount of alkaline minerals like
calcium, magnesium, potassium and selenium. The citric acid is a weak acid which the
body can easily remove via sweat and respiration.
